Oberhausener Tennis Hockey-Club e.V.
The field hockey pitch of the 100-year-old traditional club from Oberhausen has more than met its target. A new artificial turf pitch is needed. For this to succeed, the club needs to raise at least €15,000, and a FAIRPLAID crowdfunding project aims to achieve this in an unbureaucratic and entertaining way. In the end, over €17,000 was raised from a total of 258 supporters. And a great marketing campaign that attracted a lot of attention beyond the city limits and through which the association has also found lasting relationships with new sponsors after the project.
Forward Spoho 98 e.V.
158,992 € own contribution for the first artificial turf pitch
The Vorwärts Spoho club only had a limited-use cinder pitch for 24 teams. The Cologne club therefore had to switch to three different pitches. A new club facility including an artificial pitch was the goal and €300,000 of the club's own money was the challenge. The club decided to finance part of it by raising membership fees and the other half through a crowdfunding project with FAIRPLAID. Within four weeks, € 158,992 had been raised. And the artificial turf pitch has now been completed and serves as the club's new home.
Padel is one of the up-and-coming sports worldwide. To counteract the loss of members, TC Altenberge-Erika has decided to include this sport in the club's program. A facility with 2 padel tennis courts costs €80,000. The majority of the costs were covered by a KSB-Emsland funding program. The club's own contribution of €5,000 was largely financed in a short space of time via a crowdfunding project with FAIRPLAID.
