Earlier this week, we from Fairplaid had the honor to participate in the event "Crowdfunding Opportunities for Tunisian Diaspora in Germany", organized by the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation in cooperation with the Tunisian Embassy in Berlin. The event brought together key players from Tunisian politics and business to discuss the introduction and further development of crowdfunding in Tunisia.

In recent years, decisive steps have been taken to create the legal basis for crowdfunding in Tunisia. The Tunisian government is also increasingly recognizing the potential of alternative financing models such as crowdfunding. A highlight of yesterday's meeting was the participation of a representative of the Tunisian Ministry of Finance, who presented the new legal framework.

Orientation towards other countries

Tunisia is drawing on the successful experiences of other countries to establish crowdfunding as a financing option. This offers the Tunisian diaspora in Germany in particular great opportunities to finance their projects and at the same time contribute to the economic development of their home country.
