Municipal crowdfunding enables cities, municipalities and municipal companies to build high-impact and high-profile funding ecosystems without rejections and limits, with maximum transparency and active involvement of local citizens. FAIRPLAID has been working closely with VKU Verlag (Verband kommunaler Unternehmen e. V.) and Steilpass since 2017.
To date, this collaboration is reflected in over 40 platforms with more than EUR 10 million in funding for social, sustainable and community projects.
